Job Title:
Global Technical Support (Japanese Language Support)
Salary:
MYR 10,000
Work Location / Shift:
  • Petaling Jaya (near Kuala Lumpur)
  • 3‑shift rotation, 12‑hour shifts (including night shifts).
Role:
You will provide first‑level technical support in Japanese and English, handling customer inquiries quickly and accurately. Your work includes basic checks and troubleshooting for network devices, servers, cloud systems, and carrier services, with appropriate escalation when needed.
Job Description:
  • Receive, categorize, and respond to customer inquiries
  • Provide technical support in Japanese and English
  • Perform basic status checks on network equipment (routers/switches), servers, and storage
  • Handle initial monitoring alerts, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate when necessary
  • Check usage and status of carrier services (MPLS, leased lines, xDSL, FTTX, Internet VPN)
  • Manage inquiries and prioritize tasks; handle SLA‑based ticket management
  • Monitor service quality and take corrective actions as needed
Required Skillset:
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking at conversational level)
Preferred Skillset:
  • Experience in end‑user or customer support
  • Basic IT knowledge (network, server, cloud, carrier services)
  • Ability to review logs, perform connectivity checks, and handle basic operational tasks
  • Strong task management and prioritization skills
